Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using SchemaRank ("the app", "the service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, uninstall the app and do not use the service.

2. Service description

SchemaRank analyses your Shopify product catalogue, scores each product's AI-readiness based on Product JSON-LD completeness, and optionally injects corrected JSON-LD via a Shopify theme app extension. AI-powered description rewrites are available on paid plans.

3. Eligibility

You must have a valid Shopify store and accept Shopify's Partner requirements to use SchemaRank. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the app complies with Shopify's Terms of Service.

4. Billing

  • All paid plans are billed monthly through Shopify's native billing API. Shopify is the merchant of record.
  • Plan fees are listed at schemarank.com/pricing and may change with 30 days' notice.
  • Downgrading or cancelling stops future charges; no pro-rata refunds are issued for the current billing period.
  • AI rewrite quotas (50/month on Pro, 200/month on Agency) reset on each billing anniversary and do not roll over.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use SchemaRank to inject false, misleading, or spam content into your store's JSON-LD.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell the app or its components.
  • Use the app in violation of any applicable law.
  • Fabricate or misrepresent review data — aggregateRating is only included in JSON-LD when real review data exists in your store.

6. Accuracy of AI rewrites

AI-generated description rewrites are suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all rewrites before publishing. We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your products.

7. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that improved JSON-LD will result in any specific ranking or visibility outcome in any AI shopping system.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SchemaRank's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may terminate your use of the app at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
